The shoe draws its name from its structured side panelling, created using supportive columns that protect the foot and encourage a springy responsiveness, as well as a unique look. Using a cupsole construction, the Vertebrae provides comfort and impact resistance under foot and improved durability in high abrasion areas - the outsole's rubber extends further up the shoe, cupping the toe, heel, and side walls in high abrasion areas.
