Tied into Thailand’s New Year celebration, Songkran, the tribute begins with a woven upper mirroring the traditional bamboo kratip baskets used to store and serve rice, with earthy green underlays bringing shredded papaya flavours. The Swoosh wraps the upper with complimentary suede Parachute Beige, allowing other areas of the dish to pop: an ornate chrome tab, styled like traditional Thai tableware, sits on the heel, adorned with a Thai translation of ‘NIKE’ and tasteful stitching.
